Two weeks ago, I lost my job at B4 Advisory unexpectedly because they said I wasn't doing well enough. It happened right after I got my CPA license. But then, two weeks later, I found a new job in a different industry. They offered me 20% more money, a better team, and a limit of 45 hours per week for work.
In my experience, it was much easier to negotiate a higher income when I had the license and work experience, and even in the current recession, there is a strong need for CPAs. It makes the grueling hours studying worth it. Truly, this credential will pay you back for the rest of your life.
